Patience, Esther Bedi and Esther Yankey, graduated and are ready to fly out of the nest.

They could not believe it was really happening. Esther Yankey, Patience and Esther Bediako graduated from a three year training as dress and Batik makers. They couldn’t believe it when the recevied our gift to them, a sewing machines and other tools needed to start their own small dress making business. The machines were donated by Mrs Charlotte Kroon in The Netherlands. They also got 130 cedis (45euros) to trade with .

The girls will be still be at the center up till June 2014. The profit they make from their trading with the 130 cedis will be their start capital and the 130 cedis will be returned to the foundation The idea behind this is not to give Hand-outs but to stimulate them to earn their own income. The girls loved this idea .We are hopeful that this will be a stimulant to other girls in the surrounding villages. They also promised to train at least one girl for free as gratitude.
